12 Acting Salaries You Simply Won't Believe

2. Tom Cruise - The Mission: Impossible Series

Salary: $300 Million (And Counting) Tom Cruise wisely decided to invest in a franchise for himself with the original Mission: Impossible, which he also produced. The series let him work with a myriad of cool directors like Brian De Palma and John Woo, and engage in his favourite hobby; filming himself pulling off insanely dangerous stunts. Since the series is practically branded on his name, his services don€™t come cheap. In fact, his earnings from the first four movies alone come to a jaw-dropping $290 million, most of which is from gross profit deals. In the case of Mission: Impossible II, for example, he turned down an upfront salary in exchange for thirty percent of the gross. By the time the dust had settled, he€™d made $75 million off of it. Unsurprisingly, he€™s already confirmed for Mission: Impossible 6.
