Crime: Various (assault/armed robbery) Served: Various over a 10 year period (longest sentence was 5 years) Danny Trejo is best known for playing Mexican warriors in the likes of Machete, Breaking Bad, Predators and, erm..., Spy Kids. Although hes technically American, he perfectly embodies anything bad-ass about his country of descent. Trejos first role was in the Shakespeare-quoting action-thriller Runaway Train, where he played a prison inmate. Rumours were sparked that he was actually serving time during filming, used as an extra out of convenience. While thats utter bull, Trejo has spent a fair bit of time behind bars in the past. During the sixties (when he was in his twenties), Trejo was constantly in and out of prison on various, rather extreme, charges. The details are muggy, but according to the man himself the longest stretch was a whopping five years.
