Crime: Tax Evasion Served: Three years Most people coming out of prison find themselves in a difficult situation. Its hard to find work with a criminal record and that's saying nothing of general adjustment to the outside world. None of this was an issue for Wesley Snipes, who, mere months after being released from a three year stint in jail, was set to star in a big Hollywood action movie. It was The Expendable 3, but still, its not the usual post-prison life. Snipes had been convicted of tax evasion after he repeatedly failed to pay his income tax, with some incredibly shaky arguments from his lawyers making it appear that he was trying to defraud the government. The scandal had been growing for over five years before his conviction, which had essentially halted his acting career. Through the nineties hed become an incredibly bankable action star, so the question now is whether he'll try and reclaim his former glories; will The Expandables lead to a resurgence, or stand as testament to how past it he is?
