8. Thomas Jane

Thomas Jane has worked fairly consistently over the past decade, but the fact that a massive EIGHT of his releases since 2010 have been released direct-to-VOD says quite an unfortunate amount about where his profile currently is.

It's a shame too, because he's been genuinely good in the past and he deserves a better career trajectory than following Michael Madsen and Nic Cage into the bargain bin. Luckily for his fans (and for him), Shane Black loves a healthy slice of nostalgia and he's cast Jane as Baxley in The Predator, which should hopefully catapult him into relevance a bit more in its wake.

He doesn't look like the nicest character, to be honest, but at least a good performance on the back of his central role in TV's The Expanse should give him more opportunities of good work.
