12 Actors Who Are About To Make A Huge Comeback
7. Anna Paquin
In the wake of True Blood's end in 2014, Anna Paquin should be transitioned easily into big movie roles, but it's a sorry reflection of her career trajectory that the most notable thing she's been involved in was X-Men: Days Of Future Past, which she was mostly cut from (before The Rogue Cut was re-released).
Other than that, she's had some not-entirely-successful TV roles and a couple of film ones, but the bigger projects simply haven't come around. Well, not until Martin Scorsese came calling.
Paquin's big comeback could come in the form of the director's adaptation of the Frank Sheeran/Jimm Hoffa story, The Irishman, in which she plays Sheeran's daughter Peggy in a cast so incredible it reads like a dream. If Scorsese sees her alongside names like DeNiro, Pacino, Pesci, Keitel and Plemons (among MANY others), she's bound to see a lift in profile off the back of The Irishman.
