11. The Crow 2037: New Age Of Gods And Monsters
Before Rob Zombie made his directorial debut with House of a 1,000 Corpses there were talks of another sequel in The Crow film franchise. A sequel written and directed by Mr. Zombie himself. A screenplay was written, and was actually pretty good, all be it quite different than the usual. On Halloween 2010 a young boy and his mother are brutally murdered by a dark priest, who reportedly would have been played by Christopher Lee. One year later the boy is brought back by the crow to exact his revenge as is common place in The Crow universe. Although not so common place the boy forgets of the horrors he has experienced, and goes about his life becoming a bounty hunter. Twenty-seven years later, the boy finally sets out to get his vengeance. Zombie even wrote a full script for the project, one that can be found for free online, but despite the amazing story the film just would not have fit in with the overall Crow mythos. Which is probably the main reason it just never happened. Its a shame too because after one glance at the script the thought of Rob Zombies futuristic gothic adventure will have anyone praying this story is resurrected and given a second chance.
