12 Awful Films DCEU Actors Want You To Forget

8. Jared Leto - Chapter 27

Jared Leto has had a career of extremes, bouncing between critical adoration for the likes of 2014’s devastating drama Dallas Buyers Club and critical lambasting for… er, for his role in the DCEU as the corniest incarnation of the Joker.

However in the actor’s few decades onscreen, there are some roles which require so much commitment that they are almost impossible to dismiss. Just think of Chapter 27, the biopic of Beatle John Lennon’s troubled assassin Mark Chapman. A difficult role for any actor to take on, Chapman almost broke Leto as the actor compromised his health to gain massive amounts of weight for the part.

And the effort was… supremely pointless, since this is likely the first time you’ve heard of this disastrous flop, which failed with both critics and audiences and was soon forgotten (luckily for Leto).

Cathal Gunning hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
