12 Bad-Ass DC Movie Scenes That We Almost Got To See

10. Green Arrow Meets The Villains - Escape From Super Max

Despite there being relatively little clamour for a Green Arrow movie, we actually almost got an excellent sounding one from the brain of David S Goyer, which could have propelled the character to movie superstardom well before the TV show revived interest in him.

Goyer was working on a script with Justin Marks called Green Arrow: Escape From Super Max, which was scrapped, unfortunately, because Warner Bros higher-ups simply didn't have the vision for it (they wanted to focus on Batman and Superman movies).

Sadly that robbed us of the chance to see Arrow trapped in an Alcatraz-style prison surrounded by villains (including The Riddler, Lex Luthor, Icicle and Tattoo Man) - an idea borrowed from Arkham Asylum: A Serious House On Serious Earth and reused in the Arkham Aslym game.

And it's those team-up meetings where we would have seen the villains and their individual, specially adapted cells that the biggest missed opportunity exists. Aside from the rumoured chance of seeing a drugged up, catatonic Lex Luthor, seeing the villains released and Arrow's "oh sh*t" moment would have been incredible.
