12 Most Badass Monologues In Movie History

8. Dr. Evil: Austin Powers - International Man Of Mystery

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTJj4wbmAhk Because it's tear-inducing hilarious. My absolute favourite scene in the Austin Powers franchise, Dr Evil, attending father-son therapy with Scott is encouraged to reveal details of his childhood by Carrie Fisher's therapist. What follows is the most bizarre super villain-origin story ever committed to film, making fun at the eccentricities of all the best Bond villains. It is the seriousness at which this monologue is recounted that makes it so funny. The Bond-villain-style music, the despair in Scott's face and the revulsion in the faces of other group therapy members. Carrie Fisher is cool as a cucumber at such an outrageous tale. It's a shame that she, along with the rest of these fathers and sons, were liquidated soon after.
