4. X-Men: Apocalypse
IMDb Rating: 7.1
From the outside X-Men: Apocalypse looked like it would be good fun; it had Bryan Singer returning once more, it was introducing a classic villain from the comic played by Oscar Isaac and it was uniting most of the cast; hell, it even had a Wolverine cameo. What could possibly go wrong?
Pretty much everything, with Apocalypse being an utter tangle of pointless subplots, campy humour and dull action. The reviews reflected this, and the film pulled in considerably less than Days Of Future Past. It was such a disappointment it looks like main series will just reboot again, instead of trying to pull the pieces back together.
In spite of all that, it currently sits on 7.1 on IMDb, despite logically sitting somewhat slightly above 5.0.
