11. Grindelwald Is Lying To Credence About His True Identity - Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald
The Crimes of Grindelwald concluded with Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) making the shock revelation that Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller) is actually Aurelius Dumbledore, a secret Dumbledore sibling nobody had any idea about.
And though this sent shockwaves through the Wizarding World fanbase, what if J.K. Rowling hasn't actually lost the plot and it'll eventually be revealed that Grindelwald has been lying to Credence in order to manipulate his awesome power?
After all, Grindelwald can't fight Albus (Jude Law) directly due to their blood pact, but having Credence be his proxy makes a ton of sense.
Given that Grindelwald is a master manipulator, the Dumbledore sibling has come totally out of nowhere and Rowling isn't prone to writing this hokey, it'd make a lot of sense if fans were being trolled by this final rug-pull.
It's wishful thinking no doubt, because fans don't really want to believe that Rowling is capable of something this lazy otherwise.
