Presented as a documentary, Hell House LLC covers a group of friends as they open up a haunted house of the same name. On opening night something goes wrong in the haunted house leading to the death of multiple people, including all those who built it. The film covers footage the crew had as they were building the haunted house, which of course shows some paranormal activity.

This film, as most found-footage films, is a slow burn. As the days progress you can start to see everyone unravel, you can start to see things in the background that the crew cannot.

Thanks to the setting being a haunted house, there's plenty of spooky scenery. This adds to the sense of unease, as you're not sure what the next thing that's going to jump out is going to be. Yes there's jump scares, but there's also scares that are built up, ones that you will not forget. For instance, at one point a piano is being played in the haunted house while someone walks around in the dark. It's something so incredibly small, something you'd think would have no impact but it will haunt you and you will not be able to get that haunting melody out of your head.

Arguably one of the best found-footage horror movies of the decade, Hell House LLC is an absolute must-watch film for any fan of horror.
