12 Best Movies To Netflix And Chill To

4. The Sixth Sense (1999)

When one partakes in a cheeky Netflix and chill session, things rarely heat up straight away. Usually, the two people involved keep up the pretence of actually watching the film for at least one or two scenes before they turn away from the computer in favour of the horizontal mambo.

The Sixth Sense opens with a powerful confrontation between Bruce Willis's child psychologist and a former patient who proceeds to shoot Dr Crowe before killing himself. As downbeat as this may be, M. Night Shyamalan expertly builds up the horror in this scene, continuing to maintain the tension throughout as Crowe tries to help a boy who claims he can see ghosts... and everyone knows what the best way to release tension is. *Insert winky face here*

Whether you tune back in for the ending or not, it doesn't really matter. The Sixth Sense contains the most famous twist in movie history, so if you end up missing the films final scenes because of certain distractions, no one's going to mind. Just remember; if your potential chill partner objects to watching The Sixth Sense because they've already seen it before, just pretend you want to watch it again to look for clues regarding that twist. Works every time.
