12 Biggest Guilty Pleasure Movies Of 2016

8. When The Bough Breaks

Inferno Tom Hanks Felicity Jones
Screen Gems

Screen Gems have a habit of releasing these horrible domestic disturbance thrillers marketed primarily at black audiences, usually starring Morris Chestnut.

Though When the Bough Breaks is unrepentant trash, it's also savagely entertaining in adhering so aggressively to the well-worn tropes of the home invasion thriller.

The performances are actually not-terrible, it's occasionally sexy and captures a distinct B-movie vibe that makes it fun to chuckle at, especially when it's busy taking itself way, way too seriously.

You pretty much know the formula and there aren't any big surprises here, but for fans of so-bad-it's-good cinema, this is one of 2016's more amusing jaunts.
