12 Biggest Guilty Pleasure Movies Of 2016
7. Why Him?
Why Him? mines the largely overdone father vs. fiancee premise we've seen dozens of times over the years, but it's distinguished by the excellent chemistry between James Franco and Bryan Cranston.
It's definitely too long and has some mixed messages about feminism, but it also keeps the shenanigans coming thick and fast, and it's really just a warm blanket of a movie, something totally undemanding you can watch during a lazy Netflix binge in a few months without cringing in anguish too much.
More than anything, seeing Cranston return to a comedy role more akin to his brilliant work as Hal on Malcolm in the Middle, shedding his modesty and swinging for the fences, is a ton of fun.
