12 Biggest Guilty Pleasure Movies Of 2016

6. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

Tom Cruise has a knack for carrying mediocre films to the finish line, and though this sequel is an undeniable comedown from the 2012 original, the legendary movie star's presence still makes it eminently watchable.

Much like Inferno, this one's achingly close to parodying itself with its generic villains, hilariously cliched one-liners and workmanlike production, enlivened by Cruise's chemistry with co-star Cobie Smulders (whose shirts seem to get tighter as the movie goes on), and an absurd soap opera subplot where the title character's potential daughter shows up.

The most important thing, of course, is that Tom Cruise runs a lot in this movie, and it's absolutely glorious.
