12 Biggest MCU Characters Without A Confirmed Return Date

After the Infinity Saga, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has transitioned itself to the Multiverse Saga. Phase Four, Five, and Six will culminate with Avengers: Secret Wars in what could be on a scope even greater than that of Infinity War and Endgame.

There will be countless characters playing vital roles throughout the overarching story, but it’s hard to think of any outside of Kang the Conqueror himself who will be of greater importance than Doctor Strange. He will be a central figure in the multiversal fight, not least because he is one of the only current MCU heroes to have any kind of experience with it.

Strange was instrumental in Thanos’ defeat throughout Avengers 3 and 4, and he will likely be even more integral this time around. Not however, before he completes his own trilogy of solo movies. The tease at the end of the Multiverse of Madness took Strange into the Dark Dimension with Clea, and that’s where he will be seen next.

There is currently no release date for Doctor Strange 3, but it wouldn’t make any sense to release it as part of Phase Seven after Secret Wars. This will almost certainly be a part of Phase Six, and may even lead directly into either The Kang Dynasty or Secret Wars.
