7. Charlie Hunnam Will Return At The End - Pacific Rim: Uprising

The Theory: The very end of the new Pacific Rim movie will feature a cameo from the returning protagonist of the first film, Raleigh Becket.

Why It Can't Be True: The entire reason Charlie Hunnam didn't star in the sequel in the first place is because of scheduling conflicts with the Papillion remake, so there presumably wasn't enough time for Hunnam to film even a small role.

Plus, there have been rumours for months that Becket is killed off-screen in the movie, which would put that to rest pretty decisively.

But..What If?: It's definitely possible that Hunnam was able to fly to the set for a day to film a quick post-credits cameo or something, which would hint at him starring in the inevitable third film.
