12 British Actors We'd Love to See In Marvel Movies (And Who They Could Play)

8. Noel Clarke (Synch)

noelsynch A bit of a curveball, perhaps, but I can't help thinking that Synch would be a great live action character and I can't think of anyone better to play him than Noel Clarke. Although Clarke is older than Synch is portrayed in the comics (he's 37, whereas Synch is in his late teens), he was playing a school bully as recently as 2006 in Kidulthood, so I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem here. Synch is a mutant who can copy - and indeed master/improve on - the powers of any super-powered individuals in his vicinity. If he was to appear in a future X-Men movie (or a Generation X spin-off), he would prove a useful and versatile character to have on the team. Synch is a noble, heroic and well-tempered character, but a major Synch storyline saw him come under the thrall of the evil mutant Emplate. Clarke has proven in his role as Sam in Kidulthood and his early appearances as Mickey in Doctor Who that he can portray someone with dubious personality traits, while his later performances as Mickey also showed he can do the heroic thing as well.
