12 Castings For New Movies That Prove Hollywood Has Gone Insane

5. Ezra Miller - The Flash

Will Poulter It
DC/Summit Entertainment

Now, this isn't to say that Ezra Miller is a bad actor by any means. It's just that casting him was entirely unnecessary, when Grant Gustin has already proved himself a fan favourite on The CW's TV treatment of the same character.

If it's not broken, don't fix it. But then that doesn't really sit comfortably with DC's if it's broken, just add Batman and every other character possible to distract from the issues.

Quite when Miller will actually show up as The Flash is up for debate. He's rumoured to appear in Batman V Superman ahead of the Justice League spin-off, but they might genuinely run out of minutes with the 800 narrative strands they're already wrestling with.

Will It Work?

Why does it even need to? There's already a perfectly good Flash currently on screens, and ignoring the TV universes in a wider adapted universe is not the smartest idea. Unless you're talking about Gotham, which is just best left to exist on its own in the lunatic margins.
