5. Winston (Ian McShane) - John Wick 3: Parabellum

There's no doubt that a lot of people are going to die in the third (and final?) John Wick movie, and the most obvious character ripe for a dramatic death is Winston (Ian McShane), the owner of New York's Continental Hotel.

Winston has served as a father figure to Wick (Keanu Reeves) in the first two movies, and graciously gave him an hour's head-start to escape New York before deeming him excommunicado at the end of Chapter 2. But with tensions reaching an all-time high in the third chapter, the literally millions of assassins out for Wick's life might decide to make things personal.

Naturally, killing the owner of a Continental establishment is enormously risky and shouldn't be taken lightly, but it's an effortlessly easy way to heighten the stakes for John and make his quest for survival - and possibly revenge - that much more emotionally charged.
