10. The X-Men Are Coming To The MCU
The Rumour
Marvel are quietly working on a deal to bring the X-Men back under their control, similar to the one that reunited them with Spider-Man.

Surely the directors would know, right? Well, the Russos have told Comic Book that it's not a goer...
“As far as we know, right now there isn’t talk regarding the X-Men. I don’t know if behind-the-scenes there were conversations or if there are conversations happening but we certainly haven’t heard of any. Sony and Marvel had a relationship through Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal and through us and Amy. That’s really how Spider-Man came about. It requires a certain alchemy and a very special situation for studios to share properties. There was not talk on Civil War about the X-Men.”
Would It Have Been Any Good?
The X-Men coming in for either X-Men Versus The Avengers or some sort of major cross-over event, like House Of M would have been stunningly good (even if balancing either of those would be an absolute nightmare). But Fox still make too much money out of the mutants, so it's unlikely to happen any time soon.
