11. Squirrel Girl Will Be In Infinity War
The Rumour
Thanos' greatest foe - yes, seriously - Squirrel Girl will make her debut in Phase 3, possibly in Avengers: Infinity War.
The Killer Proof
Well, it was plucked out of the air for a start, and mostly because of some fan art of Anna Kendrick as the character. That's no basis for truth, no matter what some sites might claim.
But more tellingly, Squirrel Girl is now apparently ear-marked for a role in the New Warriors TV show that is in development, and it's unlikely there'd be that sort of cross-over between Phase 3 and a new TV show. Not if precedent is to be believed.
Would It Have Been Any Good?
She'd be a good character for a Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel, perhaps, but Squirrel Girl is a bit of a joke. She's probably the most over-powered figure in Marvel history (thanks to beating Thanos), and her presence would be horribly distracting. You'd either have people demanding to know why she wasn't allowed to kill him again, or those complaining when she was.
It's a no win. At least a TV show means she can get built up with her own special tone.
