3. Gotham Season 2 Will Have Time Jumps Or Flash-Forwards
The Announcement: The second season of Fox's hit show Gotham won't start airing until September, but fans have been busy speculating about in which direction the series might be headed. What if the show introduced either a few time jumps to speed things up, or flash-forwards to future events in the principal characters' lives? Why It'd Be Awesome: It'd add a little extra flavour to the popular series and allow the show to depict far-flung event which it otherwise wouldn't be able to cover over the course of a linear narrative. How Likely Is It?: 3/10. Gotham is very much about Bruce, Gordon and everyone else in their formative years, and so it seems unlikely that things would more forward so fast, no matter how cool and intriguing it could be. Plus, having potentially concurrent casts in two or more time periods just sounds like a logistical and budgeting nightmare for a TV series.
