3. Plastic Man From The People Behind The Matrix

The Wachowski Brothers - most famous for writing and directing the Matrix trilogy - have long been rumoured to be helming a movie based on the DC character Plastic Man. Plastic Man is a long-standing member of the Justice League and his power is that he is able to stretch and shape his highly resilient and elastic body into any shape he can imagine - even ones with moving parts. It would be like the Fantastic Four's Reed Richards AKA Mister Fantastic getting his own movie - without the character possessing the incredible intellect that makes him so interesting. The movie would apparently have reunited the Wachowskis with Keanu Reeves - who would have played the titular hero whose real name is Patrick "Eel" O'Brian - and, as well as the fact that the character would be wrong for a solo movie, that would also have been terrible casting.
