1. Woody Allen Married His (Sorta) Stepdaughter & Has Numerous Sexual Abuse Allegations

The Story: In 1991, a 56-year-old Woody Allen began a relationship with 20-year-old Soon-Yi Previn, who was the adopted daughter of Allen's previous partner, Mia Farrow. Allen eventually married Previn, and though he was not legally her stepfather as many outlets have wrongly reported (due to Allen never marrying Farrow), he reportedly had a stepfather-like relationship with her, as he was in her life in some form from around the age of 10.

Allen's reputation took a huge dent over the scandal, but that's not the only one he's had to deal with over the years. He was accused of molesting his and Farrow's adopted daughter Dylan, and a judge found that the results were inconclusive (while they were later deemed "unfounded"), though Dylan continues to insist that the abuse took place.

Allen is a tremendous artist, but regardless of whether or not the abuse is true or not, the whole marrying your kinda-stepdaughter thing is undeniably mega-creepy. Allen retorted the criticism by declaring, "the heart wants what it wants", and though the age gap isn't really a big issue here, the fact that he watched her grow up as a child is rather disturbing. Allen claims that he barely knew Soon-Yi as a child and adolescent, though it's pretty difficult to believe that given his relationship with Farrow. There's probably not much use in constantly raking over his actions every time a new movie comes out, but it goes without saying that his otherwise high acclaim will forever be tainted by his rather questionable personal life.
