10. The Garage Door Death
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdYmIIbYoH0 This has got to be one of the most brutal deaths in slasher history. While in the garage getting more beer, Tatum is confronted by Ghostface and, like most of the people in this franchise, she treats it as a joke at first. "Don't kill me, Mr. Ghostface. I wanna be in the sequel!" But when things turn serious she tries to escape out the garage door, only to get stuck as Ghostface raises it and she dangles there before being horrifically killed. Damn. The scene is pretty scary in that Tatum isn't even that far away from the party, so like Drew Barrymore in the opening, she's so close to getting help and being saved. It's also one of the most over the top deaths in all of these movies, with most just being simple stabbings, yet it manages to not feel too ridiculous. It definitely elicits some laughter just for how crazy it is, yet like the rest of the movie, the silliness doesn't undercut the horror.
