2. Max Dillon - The Amazing Spider-Man 2
From his very introduction, you know Jamie Foxxs Max Dillon is going to be a bit of a comic relief bad guy. You know my name?! he asks Spider-Man, without realising that hes wearing a very prominent name badge.
After this, he becomes instantly obsessed with Spideys superheroic and eventually bases his entire foray into villainy on the fact that the webslinger doesnt instantly recall their brief chat when prompted. Well, that and the sad truth that no one cares that its his birthday. To be fair, most grown ups dont get too worked up about each others birthdays right?
Stupidest moment: Shortly before becoming Electro, Max climbs up onto a railing to try and fix a cable. Hes clearly not wearing enough protective clothing, nor taking any meaningful safety precautions, and subsequently goings flying into a tank of electric eels. Thats less of a tragic backstory, and more of a simply stupid bit of decision making.
