12 Embarrassing Early Film Roles Actors Need You To Forget

1. Brad Pitt - Less Than Zero

Totalfilm.comTotalfilm.comBrad Pitt is arguably the biggest name on this list. Household is simply not the word. His fame extends around the world, as does his wealth and his philanthropic endeavours. And if we're honest, so do his abs - and his latest obsession with really weird hair styles. But before all of that, Brad Pitt was a name nobody had ever heard of and Fight Club was not a thing. Before all of that, there was Less Than Zero (1987) which is an average film typical of the late eighties that gained average reviews and is averagely cast, with Robert Downey Jr. also being a big name on the bill, that wasn't as big before the Iron Man era but had a hell of a lot more cocaine. Brad Pitt however, isn't even a named part. He is simply known as "Partygoer/Preppie Guy At Fight" and is unfortunately uncredited. A long way from the leading man we now escape zombies with. Luckily, with writer Ellis recently penning a sequel to the book Less Than Zero is based on (also called Less Than Zero), the opportunity arises for a sequel film and rumours abound that Ellis is attempting to reunite stars Robert Downey Jr., James Spader, Jami Gertz, and Andrew McCarthy should 20th Century Fox take a liking to the idea. Perhaps this time around, Brad Pitt will manage to get a name credit for himself. We think he deserves after all his preparation for the role of "Partygoer".
