12 Embarrassing Early Film Roles Actors Need You To Forget

2. Nick Offerman - Sin City

zimbio.comzimbio.comNick Offerman. He appears to be a serious man, who enjoys manly things like breakfast foods, and carpentry. He possesses a moustache that would out-'stache Mussolini and knows how to handle a gun and whittle a chair. It is strange then that his pastime between these manliest of pursuits is acting, both in serious Hollywood films and in the praised and loved Parks And Recreation. One of these dark and twisted Hollywood productions is Sin City, in which Offerman plays "Shlubb". Unsurprisingly, in a film as complex as Sin City, with a cast that would astound most modern Hollywood directors, Nick Offerman doesn't really get as much attention as he deserves - despite the fact that his eternally angry visage suits the mood of the film perfectly. But he does give a good performance in a sea of good performances. If we are especially lucky and ask Santa extra hard, we may be rewarded with a reappearance of Offerman's Schlubb in the upcoming sequel-prequel-alternate telling-no one is really sure what it is, Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For releasing 22 August 2014.
