9. The Ice Road

Liam Neeson, after retiring from action movies following headlining the successful Taken franchise, returned in glorious fashion a few years ago, and has actually made some decent flicks since.

Despite a lot of them looking like disposable trash on the surface (not helped by titles like Cold Pursuit, which you can easily mistake for a straight-to-DVD Steven Seagal movie from the early 00s), they've mostly been damn good.

The Ice Road looks to follow in the same direction, and is about Neeson's character heading up a rescue mission to free some trapped workers in a diamond mine.

It's currently filming for a release at the end of this year or early 2021, and is only one of seven projects the actor currently has in production.
