12 Great Actors Trapped In AWFUL Horror Movies

Video game movies are well-known for being some of the most awful film adaptations ever put to screen. And for this well-earned reputation we can thank infamous, multi Razzie-winning filmmaker Uwe Boll for giving us the likes of Alone In The Dark, Postal, Far Cry, and (perhaps his worst yet) BloodRayne.

Winning four Stinker Bad Movie Awards and nominated for a whopping six Razzies, BloodRayne is very loosely based on the game of the same name as it follows titular dhampir Rayne (Kristanna Loken) join forces with a group of vampire hunters to seek vengeance on her vampire father after he kills her human mother. And her blood-thirsty father is played by none other than Academy Award-winning screen legend Ben Kingsley.

Also featuring the likes of Billy Zane, Michael Madsen, and a fabulously over-the-top Meatloaf, BloodRayne is yet another one of Boll's films that finds itself as one of the worst rated films of all time. Universally panned by critics, ridiculed by the video game's voice actor Laura Bailey, and criticised over hiring actual prostitutes instead of actors for one scene, there's no doubt that this is the low point in Kingsley's career.

At least he isn't on screen for too long.
