12 Great Movie Duos That Were Based On Real Life Events

6. Tombstone (Wyatt & Doc)

6 Tombstone This dynamic is a blast to watch. I'm going to leave it up to you as to whether that's a pun or not. I have deadlines to meet! Not really. Anyway, the relationship between Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday in this film is a male bond at its best, even if it is very much a Hollywood one. Wyatt and Doc both have an obvious affection for each other, even if Wyatt is trying to settle down in his life and Doc is still living at breakneck speed. You can tell they're excellent friends. Their one-liners bounce off of one another superbly. I would also say that Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer elevate their dynamics a great deal further through their respective acting and uses of costumes and makeup. The music really supports it all too. Overall, as the stakes get higher in the movie, you realize more and more just how much they mean to each other, and the filmmakers keep that energy going to the end. This movie is filled with great layers across the board€”I almost put Doc and Ringo's perfect relationship of mirrored hatred on this list, but the dynamic between Wyatt and Doc is definitely my huckleberry.
