If the grading of these escapes was based solely on visuals, Magnetos escape in X-Men: Days of Future Past would take the top spot. In a brilliant, slow motion sequence, Quicksilver dashes around a kitchen, rearranging the positions of guards and bullets to clear a path for a man with magnetic powers similar to some other guy his mom once knew. In appropriately short order, Quicksilver steals the film. Really, the main reason why this scene is not higher on this list is the escapee, Magneto. Its not so much that he escaped, but was rather broken out of prison through no effort or planning of his own. Its a technicality that could have disqualified this scene completely, but it is just too spectacular and too much fun not to make the cut.
