Batman is known to be a master of many trades, including that of the escape artist. Having gone into Arkham Asylum to save Rachel Dawes from the Scarecrow, Batman found his exit blocked by the Gotham Police. Those cops really had no chance of catching him given that Batman brought backup. In a wonderful homage to the classic comic book story arc, Year One, Batman calls a swarm of bats to descend upon Arkham to distract his would be captors. An iconic shot captures Batman dropping down a spiral staircase in order to reach the exit into an alley where his pal James Gordon awaits with an unconscious Rachel. If that wasnt enough, Batman completes his escape by way of a ferocious chase scene in the Tumbler. Cop cars, concrete barricades, and rooftops are no match for Batmans black tank.
