10. Thor (The Avengers)
Everyone has their favourite Avenger, and for their own reasons, but there is no denying that the coming together of Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor is one of the greatest moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date.
This once was the most ambitious, and most anticipated comic book movie crossover ever, and while the rest of the team crossed paths relatively early in the franchise’s sixth movie, Thor took a little while longer to show his ruggedly good looking face.
Captain America and Iron Man had subdued Loki in Germany and had him on a flight back to Nick Fury when the God of Mischief began to look a little uneasy. The Avengers thought it was merely a storm, but Loki knew all too well that what followed the thunder and lightning was his big brother.
Thor superhero landed his way onto the top of the plane, jumped in and without a word dispatched of Iron Man, grabbed Loki by the throat, and flew back out into the open air. This may only be the first of several Thor entries on this list, but there’s no denying how badass the God of Thunder was here.
