12 Images That Will Restore Your Faith In Upcoming Movies
5. Daniel Radcliffe's Villain - Now You See Me: The Second Act
Why We're Worried: The first Now You See Me was half a terrifically entertaining heist film and half a ridiculously convoluted let-down. The fact that it ended in something of a contrived, twisty trainwreck matters little when the movie made over $350 million worldwide: a sequel was always going to happen with numbers like that, and that's exactly what's worrying. From its lazy title onwards, this sequel is simply going to ask audiences to "deal with it" in regard to the previous film's diabolical plot twist, though it's possible that those who paid to see the original may simply feel too jaded by the ending to part with their money for a second go-around. Why This Image Rocks: Putting Harry Potter in your movie is never a bad idea, especially when he's a) playing against-type as the villain and b) kitted out with a totally awesome beard. Radcliffe is reportedly playing the son of the first film's villain, Arthur Tressler (Michael Caine), looking to bring the Horsemen to justice after landing his dad in jail. The Potter star hasn't embarked on many antagonist roles in his career yet, so this should be a head-turning part assuming the script is up to scratch. If nothing else, he sure as hell looks like he's game for some literal mustache-twirling.
