Recent global events have made everybody’s lives feel stranger than fiction. It’s hard to believe that everything we are seeing on the news is actually happening and not some kind of weird fever dream we are experiencing.

Being stuck inside and not knowing what the immediate future holds feel like we have all been thrown into some kind of movie. News channels are almost exclusively talking about the pandemic, which appears to be getting worse and worse by the day.

Luckily, most of us have access to numerous streaming services full of content that can distract us from everything happening outside. With plenty of time to kill, why not pass the time by watching some of the most unbelievable documentaries ever made.

Some of these stories will serve as a timely reminder that there are people in this world living an even stranger existence than we are right now. They will also educate you about experiences and scenarios that you will never have, nor ever want to, experience first hand.

12. Don't F**k With Cats

This three-part documentary series begins with the discovery of a shocking video found on the dark web of a man filming himself killing a kitten. As the video is spread around the Internet, a group of cat lovers come across it and set out to track down the evil culprit.

From there, they uncover more disturbing videos from the same man and are then in a race against time to find him before he carries out any more horrific attacks.

As the group grows larger, they delve deeper into the dark web and get close to exposing the killer’s true identity. However, attempts to alert the authorities are quickly dismissed, as the cat lovers are not deemed as credible informants.

That is until the sick individual moves on from felines and starts targeting humans.

The documentary series gives the viewer an unsettling insight into the world of the dark web and gets far more gruesome than the light-hearted title suggests.
