Even as a child star the future Black Widow was seen as a serious actor, mature beyond her years. After gaining critical kudos for her role in Robert Redford's The Horse Whisperer, ScarJo graduated to hipper-than-thou teenage parts in Ghost World and the Coen brothers' The Man Who Wasn't There. She did still find time in between, though, for at least one slice of nonsensical kids' movie zaniness.

1999's My Brother The Pig is... well, it's a pretty "does exactly what it says on the tin" title really, isn't it? It's Scarlett Johansson and her brother is a pig. Like an actual snout, trotters and curly tail pig, not just that he has gross personal hygiene or something.

In the movie ScarJo plays a grumpy teen whose bratty brother loves "hilarious" pranks like tying a live mouse to her ankle while she sleeps. Then a combination of ice cream and magical crystals accidentally turns him into a pig, as they do.

Of course, the solution is to get Eva Mendes as the family nanny to smuggle the kids into Mexico so that her mystical "Aztec" grandma can turn pig-brother back before their parents return from vacation.

All that it will take to restore the pig to an irritating boy is to pour some spicy soup over him on a mountain during a full moon. That is provided ScarJo can rescue the pig from a cleaver-wielding butcher who ends up with a magical animal transformation of his own.

Everything's back to normal at the end except, in a final twist, the brother's still got a curly tail. Thanos grinning to the camera-style sequel hook? Fortunately not.
