12 LGBTQ Comic Book Characters Ready For Live-Action Adaptation

1. Karolina And Xavin

Ultimate Spider-Woman
Marvel

As Joss Whedon put it, in the Avenger movies, we've seen heroes with mostly "punchy powers", but these two members of The Runaways would bring in more of the otherworldly super powers we've all been waiting to see.

Karolina is a member of an alien race rainbow colored light powers and Xavin is a skrull. The Skrulls are a race of shape shifters and so Xavin's has a flexible gender identity. There have been multiple attempts to get a Runaways movie up and running but no real progress has been made. Both of these characters being aliens makes them a possibility for a Guardians of the Galaxy sequel appearance.

Also their cult status popularity and street level superhero history could make them available for something like the Agents of Shield television show. In truth, for fans of these two characters, the best case scenario for them to show up in live-action would be something like a Netflix mini-series adaptation of the Runaways comic book.

Casting Options

Saoirse Ronan definitely has the ethereal qualities necessary to play Karolina and someone like Katerina Graham has the experience and look to handle Xavin's abstract abilities.
