12 Massive Changes In Comic Book Movies From The Source Material

1. Juggernaut Being A Mutant

7 Juggernaut cropped film Juggernaut, simply put, is not a mutant in the comics. He is an ordinary man who is empowered by a powerful entity called Cyttorak and has unstoppable momentum, vast super-strength (on one occasion he punched so hard that he punched through reality in to another dimension and is generally considered on a par with the Hulk), super-human durability and regenerative capabilities (he was burnt down to a skeleton and kept going), super-human stamina, a near-impenetrable forcefield and a helmet that protects him from mind-control. In X-Men: The Last Stand, however, he is a mutant (as confirmed when the mutant Leech was able to negate his powers) and is nowhere near close to the power levels displayed by the comic book version. He is simply a fairly strong, quite durable brute with the momentum mojo also going on. He's also Charles Xavier's step-brother in the comics - something which isn't alluded to at all in the movie. So, that's twelve, but there are obviously more out there, so which changes to the source material do you remember from comic book movies? Let us know in the comments box below.
