11. Magneto And Professor X Could Be POC

The X-Men movies have all typically been directly tied to - or at least had undercurrents related to - the Civil Rights movement in America. Mutants are very much the comic book movie universe's version of liminal, persecuted groups, because humanity invariably hates nothing more than variations on themselves.

That link could be about to be even more overt if one game-changing Phase 5 rumours is to be believed, because it seems Marvel are looking at casting black actors to play Magneto and Professor X. That would draw the Malcolm X, Martin Luther King allusions of the characters right to the surface.

That would also fit with Kevin Feige's insistence that we'll see more diversity in future Marvel movies. And the X-Men (at least in the movies so far) have typically been predominantly white, so perhaps it's a good place to start really making changes?
