12 Mistakes Marvel Needs To Avoid For Phase Three

10. Crowding Infinity War With Too Many Characters

The Mistake: The phrase "too many cooks spoil the broth" certainly applies to the MCU, as given how many characters it's already had to cram into Age Of Ultron, it's clear that the larger event movies are going to begin to strain under the weight of so many superheroes. With the Guardians Of The Galaxy, Black Panther, Spider-Man and so many other characters presumably joining the roster for future Avengers movies, there's enormous potential for things to get too heavily populated for their own good. Why It Could Ruin Phase Three: As awesome as it would be to see a two-minute shot of every single MCU hero beating the crap out of a fleet of anonymous enemies, tying all of these heroes together in a coherent way is going to be extremely difficult, both in terms of plotting and the physical logistics of editing so much concurrent action together. The simplest solution is probably to deal with one group of heroes in Infinity War Part 1 and the other in Part 2, as well as placing heroes in different locations so that the Russo Brothers can cross-cut between several fight scenes. Even so, there's the very real risk that there will just be too much going on in these movies.
