12 More Movie Endings That Trolled Audiences

Wolf Of Wall Street
Universal Pictures

The infamous "it was all a dream" ending has been a classic bit of audience trolling ever since schoolkids wrote their first essays, but Miguel Sapochnik’s 2010 sci-fi action thriller Repo Men truly took the biscuit with its infamous ending.

Following Jude Law and Forest Whitaker as a pair of the titular repo men who repossess organ transplants, the film saw Law’s protagonist gain a conscience and go up against the shadowy dystopian company paying them, resulting in a badass rebellion and a whole lot of shoot ‘em up action.

That is, until we learn that the entire ass-kicking third act is a dream being fed into Law’s brain after a seemingly inconsequential injury earlier in the film left him comatose.
