The Role: Rick Dalton, a washed-up actor who starred on a western TV series called Bounty Law and years later has failed to transition into movies. In 1969, he is neighbours with doomed actress Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie) as he contemplates heading to Italy to star in low-budget westerns.

Why You Should Be Excited: It's DiCaprio in a Tarantino movie: what else do you even need to know? DiCaprio gave one of the best performances of his career playing Calvin Candie in Django Unchained, so it's hugely exciting to see him leading Q.T.'s upcoming ensemble crime drama.

DiCaprio will be sharing the screen with Brad Pitt, who plays Rick's pal and stunt double Cliff Booth, and he'll presumably get some screen time opposite his Wolf of Wall Street co-star Robbie, so that should be fun.
