Sold for: $4,408,456 Dubbed "The Most Famous Car In The World", the Aston Martin DB5 driven by Sean Connery in 1964's Goldfinger holds the title for most expensive movie car to be sold at auction, garnering a fair few dropped jaws when it made nearly four and a half million in 2010. The car sold was complete with a handful of working gadgets, including pop-out machine gun barrels concealed behind the front indicators, a bulletproof panel in the boot, and a revolving numberplate that displayed the same BMT 216A registration seen in the film. Although sold for an enormous amount of money, the DB5 actually fell short of its expected sale price, with auctioneers predicting it would go for at least $5,000,000.
