12 Most Expensive Movie Props Ever Sold

11. T-800 Endoskeleton

Sold for: $488,750 Setting the benchmark for visual effects guru Stan Winston memorabilia, an imposing, full-size T-800 endoskeleton was sold in 2010, chalking up nearly half a million. The prop can be seen at the beginning of James Cameron's Terminator 2: Judgement Day in the future war scene, where the unlucky Terminator is stepped on and riddled with bullets. Comprised of an aluminium body and a head full of robotic servos (and - of course - eyes that light up), the prop stands as a testament to the ground-breaking special effects techniques implemented by Winston. Sadly, the following Terminator instalment, Rise Of The Machines, featured only computer-generated robots. You probably won't see any of those at auction.
