12 Most Expensive Movie Props Ever Sold

10. Doc Brown's DeLorean

Sold for: $541,000 As one of the most easily recognised screen vehicles of all time, a hefty price tag for the time-travelling DMC Delorean is hardly a surprise. Regular examples of the car fetch around $30,000 as it is, but this one, which was used in all three Back To The Future films, added another digit to the fee. Thankfully, it was all for a good cause, the proceeds being donated to Michael J. Fox's Foundation for Parkinson's Research. A total of seven DeLoreans were made for the franchise, but only three are thought to still be in existence. If you're keen to see one for real, however, replicas are extremely common - often to be found at car shows the world over, fans and enthusiasts have recreated the car in immaculate detail, and are keen to show them off.
