12 Most Fearsome Giants In Cinema

9. œber Immortal, 300 (2007)

Robert Maillet is professionally tall, and he's been tall in a lot of places. He was the tall Russian jaeger pilot in Pacific Rim, he was the tall Victorian thug in Sherlock Holmes, and he was tall in 90's WWE as Kurrgan. His most memorable role, though, was as the œber Immortal in 300. Guess what his primary character trait was. But the œber Immortal wasn't just tall. He was also a hideous, leprous savage that had to be led into battle in chains. Once unleashed, the œber Immortal proved to be the single most dangerous creature in Xerxes' army, which also included a warrhinoceros. In the end, he survived a stab wound through his eye and into his brain before finally being beheaded. It's never stated that the œber Immortal is actually meant to be Persian, but the fact that the film gives the Achaemenid army at least one naked Jason Voorhees doesn't help to deflect the charges of racism that some have made against 300.
