8. Black Cat
It's frankly shocking that we haven't seen Black Cat in live-action yet. Sure, we saw Felicia Hardy in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (played by the incredible Felicity Jones), but we've yet to see her alter ego in all her feline glory. Sony had a Silver Sable and Black Cat team-up film set for production, but it was cancelled in 2018 in order to make tentative plans for solo pictures for both Sable and Cat.
With Peter newly single and in a dark, lonely place, this could be the perfect time for the Black Cat to come in and shake up his life. While not an out-and-out villain like, say, Green Goblin or Scorpion, Felicia Hardy nonetheless finds herself at odds with Peter pretty frequently.
Of all Peter's enemies, Black Cat is probably the one with which he's had the most intimate relationship. She's been a lover, a friend, an uneasy ally, and a foe. Their whirlwind relationship would be a great thing to explore, and the uncertainty and betrayal that comes with it would be a great emotional challenge for Peter.
It's not likely she'd be the main villain of the film. She'd probably find herself wrapped up in the world of organized crime, and she is wont to do. Speaking of which...
